Our commitment to cleanliness

 

Not all property managers are created equal, and managing a vacation rental yourself is even more challenging given the complexity of federal, state, and local health regulations. We have the resources to stay on top of frequently changing CDC guidelines, and have sufficient, trained partners to implement them. We are prepared to be held to the same standards—of service, cleaning, and legal accountability—as a high-end hotel.

Guests’ expectations are getting higher, especially in the time of Covid-19. Our enhanced professional cleaning program, meets or exceeds CDC guidelines, so guests have extra confidence to rent our home.

When the first case of COVID-19 came to Keystone on March 5th, it was a mad scramble to find and obtain the right EPA approved cleaning products to clean properties. Since then hundreds of additional cleaning products have been approved by the EPA, and it turns out that we have been using cleaning products all along that have been proven to kill the coronavirus. Regardless, we do have improved cleaning protocols but we didn’t have to change all that much to step up our level of sanitizing our property. All properties were deep cleaned and sanitized during the off-season. We are now providing guests with a bottle of cleaning solution inside the property as well.

Sanitizing and disinfecting

Once our condo is thoroughly cleaned, we treat hard and soft surfaces throughout the home with a hospital-grade, EPA-approved disinfectant, paying special attention to high-touch surfaces.

Personal protective equipment

Our cleaning staff are provided with personal protective equipment (gloves and face masks) to wear at all times while visiting homes for maintenance, housekeeping, or any other purpose.

The U.S. CDC recommends that people wait 24 hours, or as long as possible, before entering a space occupied by a person who may have been exposed to the coronavirus. We are to wait 72 hours between reservations—this includes the 24-hour waiting period, time to properly clean and sanitize all areas accessible to the guest, and an additional buffer.
